Who Believes in You?

Writing is mainly a solitary activity. Most books, articles, blog posts, and other content is created by people working alone. Yes, there are editors and others along the way who help, but writing is primarily done by people sitting at a desk doing their craft by themselves. It’s easy to feel a bit isolated.

Stephen King identified this problem and also proposed a solution when he said, “Writing is a lonely job. Having someone who believes in you makes a lot of difference.”

Writing is hard enough as it is. It’s downright impossible if you don’t have a support system. Who are the people in your life that truly believe in you?

On this episode, Kent challenges you to surround yourself with people who support you.
